Lycra® is more stretchy and forgiving than traditional spandex. Lycra has the ability to stretch several times its size and return back to its original shape. This is a synthetic fiber used through out the world by many designers and textile manufacturers, especially for Athletic clothing. It can be matched with fibers such as cotton, silk and synthetic fibers ext. with features below:

  1. Lycra is resistant to detergents, lotions and sweat.
  2. Lycra is used in textile because its lightweight, comfortable, compression and breathable.
  3. Due to its fitting nature it is often used in Athletic socks.
  4. Lycra dries quickly, moisture wicking and it is easy to dye.
  5. Lycra has bacteria resistant nature, blocks ultraviolet rays.
