Step 1 Design and Sampling >>>>> Crafting Fashion Socks
⚫ Customers provide the image or sample of the desired socks, we provide professional opinions to customers and provide a quotation range. Finally, the style is confirmed for sampling.
⚫ Use computer drawing software to design the customer's proposed patterns, colors, etc. After confirming the style, sample the socks, then communicate with the customer for details that need modification, sample again, and finally confirm the style of the finished product.
Step 2 Selecting Raw Materials and Yarns >>>>> What do you need? Everything is available.
Select the composition and ratio of sock yarns based on the design pattern, material, and color to create socks with different materials and colors.
Note:The customizable materials introduced above can be applied to socks and selected according to individual needs and preferences. Here are the characteristics and applications of various materials:
Antibacterial and deodorizing materials→Bamboo charcoal yarn, bamboo carbon yarn, zinc oxide, silver ion fiber, copper ion, graphene, organic cotton, coffee yarn, and other materials have functions such as antibacterial, deodorizing, and odor prevention, making them very suitable for sports and daily wear.
Far-infrared materials→Germanium, far-infrared negative ion, volcanic rock mineral fiber, bamboo carbon (leaf) fiber, and other materials can exert the health benefits of far-infrared, help promote blood circulation and metabolism, reduce fatigue and relieve stress.
Maintenance materials→Lyocell (Rayon) fiber, cool yarn, collagen moisturizing yarn, gel, and other materials can maintain skin health and beauty, reduce dryness and aging of the skin.
Sports-friendly materials→Lycra elastic fiber, Lycra pressure yarn, nylon, wool yarn, reflective yarn, moisture-wicking yarn, and other materials are suitable for wearing during exercise, providing a comfortable sports experience and increasing exercise effectiveness.
Customers can choose different materials for customization according to their needs and preferences, making the socks more suitable for their needs and wearing environment.
After selecting the materials, based on the computer-designed finished product specifications and size, yarns are put on the machine according to the yarn selection table. Select the number of needles for knitting (from 96 to 220 needles in the factory), and present a tubular sock body with a hollow space on both sides of the sock cuff and sock head. Since this stage is still a semi-finished product, it is also called "embryo socks."
After the embryo socks are completed, the first inspection is done for size, color matching, material, etc., to ensure better efficiency and processing in the future.
Step 5: Sewing and Anti-Slip >>>>> Non-itchy Socks
After the sock embryo is completed, flip it over to the other side. The seam thread may protrude and rub against the foot, causing discomfort when worn. Therefore, the sock embryo needs to be finely sewn and anti-slip using a seamless sewing machine to avoid foot compression, making the toe flat and smooth, and comfortable to wear.
Note:If the socks have special logos, embroidery, anti-slip designs, etc., they need to go through a process of color embroidery.
Step 6: Drying and Shaping >>>>> Great Fit
The finished socks are manually placed one by one on a template made of iron plates to fix their shape and size, and then put into a high-temperature oven for baking. Steam and high temperature are used to mold the socks, which are then removed from the template after shaping.
Step 7: Finished Product and Quality Control Packaging >>>>> Socks' Cover
After shaping, we perform a second test and inspect the quality, such as yarn breakage, stains, uneven dyeing, poor color fastness, etc. If the quality is not up to standard, it will be directly scrapped. The finished product socks that have passed the inspection need to be manually paired, then fixed with sock clips or sewing thread, and passed through a sock hook. According to the customer's requirements, one pair of socks is packed in a plastic bag, and then twelve pairs are packed in a plastic bag or one dozen is packed in a paper box for final delivery to the customer.
